Service 04
Transportation and Freight Management
From primary movements into the warehouse to last-mile delivery — planned, tracked and matched to the right carrier and load type.
Overview
We manage transportation across the first, middle and last mile: primary movements from your plant or supplier into storage, distribution to customers and stores, and final delivery. Loads move by full truckload (FTL), less-than-truckload (LTL) or parcel, depending on volume and urgency.
Carriers are selected on cost, service level and reliability for each lane, and their performance is managed over time. Routes are planned using real-time data to reduce transport cost, fuel use and delivery times, and shipments are tracked so you know where goods are.
Transport is planned and tracked in WareTrackr TMS — the same platform that runs our warehouse — so a consignment can be followed from pick to delivery. For time-sensitive consignments, we offer priority transportation with flexible options and tracking.
At a glance
Choosing the load type
We choose the mode for each consignment based on volume, urgency and cost. As a rule of thumb:
- FTL
Full truckload
- Best for
- High-volume lanes and primary movements from plant or supplier to warehouse
- How it works
- A dedicated vehicle for your consignment
- LTL
Less than truckload
- Best for
- B2B consignments that do not fill a vehicle
- How it works
- Shared vehicle space, so you pay for the space you use
- Parcel
Parcel
- Best for
- E-commerce orders and small shipments
- How it works
- Individual packages through parcel networks, through to last-mile delivery
Time-sensitive? Priority transportation is available, with tracking and flexible options.

Common questions
Do you handle full truckloads, part loads and parcels?
Yes. We manage FTL, LTL and parcel shipments and choose the mode for each consignment based on volume, urgency and cost.
Which routes do you cover?
Tell us your origin and destination lanes and expected volumes. We will confirm coverage, transit options and pricing for those lanes.
Can we track our shipments?
Yes. Shipments are managed and tracked through to delivery in WareTrackr TMS, which can pass status into your systems through its ERP integration. For parcel shipments, AWB numbers, labels and carrier tracking are generated across multiple carriers.
Can transportation be combined with warehousing?
Yes. Many clients use us for both, so goods move from the warehouse to transport without a hand-off between providers.
