3PL and Contract Logistics
One partner for storage, order processing, transport and returns — run to an agreed scope, with our systems connected to yours.
Overview
Third-party logistics (3PL) means handing the physical running of your supply chain to a specialist. We receive, store, process, dispatch and, where needed, take back your goods, while you keep control of your products, customers and commercial decisions.
Rising Supply Chain Services provides contract logistics designed around each client’s requirements. The scope can cover warehousing, first-, middle- and last-mile transportation, reverse logistics, in-plant logistics and logistics project management — with the aim of reducing logistics cost while making operations more reliable.
Our warehouse and transport operations run on WareTrackr WMS and TMS, which integrate with your ERP (including SAP and LogicERP) and with Unicommerce, so orders, stock and shipment status move between your business and ours without re-keying. You also get a live client portal for your own orders, inventory and reports.

Common questions
What is the difference between 3PL and contract logistics?
3PL is the broad term for outsourcing logistics activities to a third party. Contract logistics usually describes a longer-term arrangement with an agreed scope, processes and service levels. We work to whatever scope you define — from a single activity such as storage to an end-to-end operation.
Can you take over an operation we currently run ourselves?
Yes, and it is one of the most common reasons businesses come to us. We start by understanding your current volumes, processes and systems, and then propose how the operation would run with us, including how stock and data would be transferred.
Will our ERP talk to your systems?
Our WMS and TMS, WareTrackr, offer two-way sync with SAP and LogicERP, Unicommerce for marketplace orders, and a REST API and webhooks for other systems. Tell us which ERP you use and we will confirm the integration approach.
Do we have to outsource everything at once?
No. Many clients start with one activity, such as warehousing or returns, and add others later. The scope is agreed with you.
